Adjunct Faculty Opportunities

�鶹���� is accepting applications to fill anticipated openings for adjunct faculty in all our teaching areas for both online and on-campus adjunct teaching opportunities with an emphasis on the following areas:

• Pastoral Studies
• Philosophy
• Theology
• English
• History

Candidates for graduate adjunct faculty must hold a doctoral degree in the relevant subject area. Candidates for undergraduate adjunct faculty must hold at least a master’s degree with at least 18 credit hours in the relevant subject area (candidates with doctoral degrees strongly preferred). Degrees must be from institutions holding regional or ATS accreditation.

Candidates must have previous college-level teaching experience. Previous asynchronous online teaching experience is highly desired for those applying to teach in the online program. Candidates for online teaching positions must be willing to teach asynchronous online courses. �鶹���� does not currently offer synchronous online courses. Candidates for on-campus adjunct faculty must be willing to teach in-person courses at the college’s campus in Cromwell, CT.

This Catholic identity is expressed in the (1992) and Pope Saint John Paul II’s . Faculty candidates must consider whether their professional goals, practices, and values align with these documents.

Due to �鶹����’s status as a Catholic seminary, Canon Law requires that candidates in pastoral studies, philosophy, and theology must be practicing Catholics willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and make the Profession of Faith.
